RAP Admission Process

The SSLA UG Admissions follow two entry pathways - the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and the Non-SET Rolling Admissions Process (RAP). Candidates have the choice to opt for either of the above processes to seek admission to SSLA.

  • Both the processes follow independent timelines.
  • Seats for each of the processes are earmarked separately and evenly divided.
  • RAP will commence in September and close in December.
  • SET will commence in December and close in April.
  • The eligibility criteria mentioned is applicable to both SET and RAP.

Admission Portal Opens

The admission portal on the SSLA website will open on Thursday, 4th September 2025.

Applicants can opt for RAP directly on the website.

SET Portal Access

The SET process and portal access will open in December 2025.

  • Applicants may choose the RAP option through the SSLA website.
  • The admission portal will open in September.
  • To complete the application form:
    • Candidates must provide their personal and contact details.
    • Class 12 Board marks will be considered solely for meeting eligibility requirements.
    • All required documents must be uploaded, as applicable, on the admission portal. These include:
      • Final mark sheet of Class 10 Board Exam
      • Final Exam mark sheet for Class 11
      • 1 recent passport size photograph
      • 1 Letter of Recommendation (LOR) from a school teacher or the Principal of the school on the school letterhead
      • Statement of Purpose (SOP): The Statement of Purpose should clearly articulate the candidate’s reasons for applying to SSLA, including specific aspects of the institution that attract their interest. It should also outline the candidate’s academic interests, career objectives, and future plans, while demonstrating how they intend to contribute meaningfully to SSLA.
    • Please ensure that the SOP adheres to the following guidelines:
      • It must be written in Times New Roman, font size 12.
      • The total word count should not exceed 500 words.
      • The candidate’s name must be clearly mentioned at the top of the document.

  • To complete the online application form, applicants must make a non-refundable payment of ₹2,500 to SSLA.
  • The fee can be paid online via credit card, debit card, internet banking, or UPI. Payments may be made directly using MasterCard or Visa.
  • Please follow the instructions provided on the application/registration portal.

  • Candidates must select a date for the online Personal Interaction (PI), which is a mandatory requirement.
  • Applicants are required to appear for the online PI on their chosen date.
  • Details regarding the PI process will be communicated via email to the registered email ID.
  • Participation in the PI is compulsory for consideration in the final selection process.

Final Selection, Admission Confirmation
  • The final selection process assigns weightage to all application components, including Class 10 and 11 marks, LOR, SOP, and PI.
  • Applicants are advised to regularly check their registered email IDs and the SSLA website for updates.
  • Admission will be confirmed only upon successful fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and submission of all required documents.
  • Please refer to the Eligibility Criteria section for detailed requirements.
  • Provisional admission will be cancelled if the minimum eligibility requirements are not met.

Terms and Conditions
  • All communication with candidates will be conducted exclusively through the official email address admissions@ssla.edu.in. Applicants must ensure that this email ID is whitelisted in their registered email account.
  • SSLA reserves the exclusive right to reject any application without assigning any reasons thereof.
  • A non-refundable application fee of ₹2,500 must be paid by every candidate at the time of registration.
  • All disputes related to the admission process are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Pune.
  • All information regarding SSLA Admission will be published on the official website; no separate communication will be sent to individual candidates.
  • The information provided in the application form will be used by SSLA. Applicants may receive communication via email or other means regarding SSLA-related matters and cannot opt out/object to such correspondence.
  • Candidates applying under reserved categories must submit valid supporting documents issued by the competent authority. Their participation in the admission process remains provisional, subject to verification and authentication of these documents.
  • In case a candidate falls under more than one of the above categories (e.g., Scheduled Caste as well as Differently Abled or any other combination), s/he would need to select any one Category (i.e. either Scheduled Caste OR Differently Abled in the case of example mentioned above) at the time of filling up the SSLA registration form. The category selected by the candidate at the time of filling the registration form will be considered to be their category for the entire admission process. All benefits and entitlements if any, shall be according to such selected categories. Candidates will not be able to claim benefit under any other category/ies at any stage of admission on any account whatsoever.

Admissions will be cancelled in case of
  • Non-submission of the required documents on time.
  • Submission of fake or incorrect or incomplete documents.
  • Admission gained through unfair and objectionable practices detected at any stage during the 4 years.
  • Failing to fulfill the required eligibility criteria of the programme.

In this regard, SIU requests the aspirants/parents to refrain from entering into any transaction with such elements. SIU has not appointed any individual/agency/organization to make such assurance on its behalf. It is a matter of Policy that SIU does not charge capitation fee for admission from students and this is widely and prominently published as well on all the relevant places like prospectus, website, etc.
  • Despite this notice, if any aspirant/parents still proceed with or enter into a transaction with such elements, they do so at their own risk and cost. SIU further notifies that any aspirant attempting to approach SIU for admission through or at the instance of such agents will be permanently debarred from admission to all courses and programmes at Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
  • Applicants are advised to ensure that the information they have filled is accurate. No changes shall be permitted after registration under any circumstances. Applicants are fully responsible for providing correct information during the application process. If any information is found to be false, SIU has the right to cancel the application or admission at any stage in accordance with its rules and regulations. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the management and employees of the institute will lead to automatic disqualification of the candidate.
  • Aspirants are expected to browse the SSLA website thoroughly before commencing the registration process.

  • Confirmation of admission is subject to successful completion of eligibility requirements and submission of all relevant documents.

  • The final selection process carries weightage for all components including Class 10 & 11 marks, LOR, SOP, and PI. Appearing for the Personal Interview (PI) is mandatory for final selection.

Terms & Conditions

  1. All communication with candidates will be done only through the official email address admissions@ssla.edu.in. Applicants are advised to whitelist this email ID in their registered email account.
  2. Candidates must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent grade). For SC/ST candidates, the minimum required marks are 45%.
  3. SSLA reserves the exclusive right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.
  4. A non-refundable fee of ₹2500/- towards the online application is payable by every candidate at the time of registration.
  5. All disputes arising out of or related to the admission process shall be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Pune only.
  6. All information pertaining to SSLA Admission 2026 will be published on the official website. No separate individual communication will be sent to candidates.
  7. Information provided in the application form will be used by SSLA for admission-related purposes. Applicants may receive information via email or other communication modes related to SSLA and shall not object to such communication.
  8. Candidates applying under any reserved category are mandatorily required to submit relevant documents issued by the competent authority. Participation in the admission process at any stage shall be purely provisional and subject to verification and authentication of documents.
  9. If a candidate falls under more than one reserved category (e.g., Scheduled Caste and Differently Abled), the candidate must select only one category at the time of filling the SSLA registration form.
  10. The category selected at the time of registration shall be considered final for the entire admission process. Process for International Candidates

Admissions of international students are centralized for all the constituent institutes of Symbiosis International Deemed University and are routed through the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE).

SCIE earmarks 20% of the total intake of the respective program for international students which include, Foreign Nationals (FN), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders, and Non-Resident Indians (NRI).

Foreign National (FN)

A student is eligible to apply as a Foreign National (FN) if he/she is a citizen of any country other than India and holds a foreign passport.

Person of Indian Origin (PIO)

As per the Government of India notification dated 9th January 2015, all the existing Persons of Indian Origin cardholders registered as such shall be deemed to be Overseas Citizens of India cardholders.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

A student is eligible to apply as OCI if he/she is granted with Overseas Citizenship of India and has an OCI card.

Non-Resident Indian (NRI)

A student is eligible to apply as a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) if he/she has appeared for either 10th or 10+2 (equivalent to the Indian 10th or 12th) examination outside India. It is mandatory for one of the two qualifying examinations to be given outside India. Please refer www.scie.ac.in for more details.
